today was a good day, musically speaking. I reworked ‘ccf retreat song’ today as it was brought to my attention last week that the verses might be moving too slowly….i think it is much better now and much closer to being finished. added another verse and i think the basic flow is there now. tune is slightly better also.

I wrote some thoughts on the back of a card at my sunday night church the other week which i didn’t think much of. but today i sat down with them and out popped something that has a cool pattern thing at the beginning that carries through the verses. i think i like this one….i’ve got a chorus and first verse, but i have to work with some others.

after that (i told you it was a good day) i revived a song from the dead. for some unknown reason i decided to bring ‘Hated Prechorus Song’ back out today and mess with it. and out of that has come something that might actually be useable. the verses aren’t that good yet but the chorus might be.

scrapped the second part of the chorus of ‘Rise’ today….need a better line……
