well i suppose that the song went over fairly well at the little concert thing. we opened for this acoustic duo that was 2 lead singers from some older christian underground type bands that i’ve never heard of…one called the Violet Burning and the other called The Lost Dogs. they had a lot of effects pedals for their acoustic guitars. not like the bad kind though where they use them too much and all at once — it was very tasteful.

anyway, it was weird to have my song played with a bass player and a snare/cymbal drum set behind it…it gave it a different feel musically than what i’d thought originally. the people that knew it was mine gave a general sense that they liked it, so i suppose that’s a good thing.
