this is what i am sifting through:

basically the culmination of pieces of lyrics i’ve written over the past i don’t know how long. let’s just use the term “forever” to describe it because it is rather insane to sift through it all spread out like this. but it helps me feel more knee-deep in the writing so i laid it all out like this today.

i finished the one with the weird chord progression and it has quite a different feel than most of the other stuff i’ve written so far. i don’t know if i like it yet but it’s there. haven’t named it yet though. hmm.

also a while back we rearranged this room and it is much more pleasing to be in now than it was. desk used to be by the door staring at a wall, now it’s by the window and as i said, i do quite enjoy being in here now. i meant to take a post this picture right after we rearranged but you know how those things go.

anyway. other than that i am now attempting to “exercise my songwriting muscle” more often, so we will see how that goes.

*my grammar and spelling obsessions require me to inform all of you who i have seen lately spelling this word as “rediculous” that that spelling is completely ridiculous.
