ever since the conversion to legal pads from the computer (which has been marvelous, by the way) i find that i have no convenient list in front of me of all the songs i am calling complete, so i have no idea how many there are now.  in addition to all the paper and crap already all over the place, now there are legal pad sheets everywhere.  so the endeavor for the rest of today is to find which pieces are basically complete and start writing lyric and tab sheets for them so i can get a new count of finished songs.  

….actually that’s kind of exciting to think about what the number might be now….it might sound much better than before.  as i’ve mentioned i’d like more songs to work with than i need so i can weed out the better ones, and i’d like something between 10 and 12 songs on the album.  i am leaning toward 12 but who knows how it will end up?
