today’s tomfoolery
i had a go at some vocals today. my suspicions that i would hear missing parts more easily with vocals in the mix were partially confirmed, and so i forged ahead. i didn’t really listen to everything that i did
lyric work
i’m reworking some bits of lyrics here and there. ‘give glory’ was finally reworked to match its new title, and it seems a better song now in terms of 1) my own liking of the song and 2) less use
i have assessed
and found the following regarding the rest of the songs: not the end – as it turns out, when i listened to it yesterday, i somehow had the piano muted. turns out the guitar only would need to be redone
