the warmup helped infinitely. things were coming out much smoother even from the first attempt. i started where i left off yesterday and finished the rest of the songs, then did another take on the first half. so i’ve got at least two takes (sometimes 3 or 4 counting the stray vocal done here and there awhile back) on every song now. so tomorrow i should be able to start piecing them together and see where that leaves me. i’ve also started hearing a few things that need changing instrument wise….mostly a few parts that need something else to fill them out. i’m going to bank on my memory (ha) to remember them when the time comes.

gonna double check on sunday with my mastering buddy but i think we’re on for next thursday….so i gotta try to have all this finished by them. seems kinda daunting. i don’t suppose it’s the end of the world if i miss the deadline but i want to focus on meeting it anyway so that mentally i keep my head in the game.
