accomplished my goal. i think that was my goal, anyway. getting the guides done this past week? well….they’re done. so let’s say it was a goal. check.

now it seems to be a lot of practicing, scheduling, and trying to work out loose ends like finding equipment, last minute scheduling, more practicing, brainstorming ideas, that sort of thing. i’ve been working a lot on electric parts, and now we’re trying to look for a couple good equipment pieces to borrow, something along the lines of a Nord (fancy keyboard thing) or other cool sound effect stuff. need to find some good sounds for a few of these songs.

so we’re t-minus 15 days until studio day 1. i will have the digital camera in hand so odds are the blog posts around studio time or after will be a good deal more interesting; pictures almost always make stuff better.
